VISIT TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

  1. I wonder what you could state about CURATION, VISION AND MISSION, FACILITIES, SERVICES, RULES AND OTHER ASPECTS following our recent visit to the museum. Also: Can you IMAGINE YOURSELF IN ONE OF THE PAINTINGS. WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?

  2. Despite of being a little dispersed during the visit of the museum, I definitely enjoyed getting to know our national paintings and learning from them. If I had to imagine myself in one of the posts, I Would rather choose number seventh (landscape) in order to discover the charms of the place and get to understand the reason why the painter decided to represent it in such beautiful way. Besides, the way I see it, the site seems to be truly quiet and peaceful, encouraging you to relax and I am looking forward to resting for a while.
I would also have number sixth as a second choice, just for listening the music the improvisers are playing. I realize they are not looking at their scores so whatever these musicians perform, I would like to know how it sounds.

  3. I was satisfied with this tour at the museum, especially with the Antonio Berni's exposition. It had the paiting of the monsters in a nightmere, which was schocking for me, but if I had to choose a painting in which I imagine myself, it would be that one.

I would have liked to visit the European Art section. It could have been a very interesting experience.

  5. Even though the visit to the museum seemed a little bit boring for me in the time the woman was explaining, i like it very much. I loved looking at different paint and painter from Argentina whcih i wasn´t aware of them. If i have to imagine myself in one of those paintings would be in the paint NUMBER 3 because i just loved the monsters on it and the horror that the paint shows.

  6. I did not enjoy the visit to the museum, in fact, what I disliked the most was tour guide who explained everything as if we were seven years old. Moreover, I only liked the first two paintings (the one of the mother sewing and the daughter dancing and the one of the daughter but older), the rest of the pieces didn't transmit anything to me. Didn't like them a bit.
I certainly prefer looking at Renaissance art. They aren't abstract, you can see every detail of the picture, the expression on the people's faces, etc. I believe that modern art represents random stuff, for instance, there was a painting at the museum that was called "Light red over dark red". And that was literally it. I guess my expectations were too high.

  7. To be honest, I didn't have ant high expectaations for this museum. Having been there once, I figured there wouldnt be much new material to see. However, I was wrong. Even though some of the pieces of art were kinda tiresome, others were beyond good. I particularly enjoyed the last part with all the moving expositions, some of which created visual illusions or even produced sound. Great visit!

  8. What i like the most about visiting the museum was the last expositions as they looked really original and creative. I consider the first ones a little bit simple and basic.
